     4. IEEE 11073-417 Blood Glucose Meter

The firmware has everything that is needed to make a medical device Continua-compliant in the simplest way possible. The module has a simple API for controlling the Bluetooth functionality and transferring measured values to the module, which are then converted to IEEE 11073 in the module. With HealthLink a complete IEEE 11073 manager from Lambrey Networks is available as evaluation kit.

- Significantly longer battery life

Thanks to the special UICP power management protocol in the LTP-based firmware (HDP/SPP), the current consumption of the Bluetooth modules can be significantly reduced.
